A former employee of Horsham's Aga Shop reached the semi finals of BBC Masterchef. Harriet did not get through to the final, but is very ple.jpg) ased that she was on the show. She is thought to be the youngest person to have reached the semi finals! The Aga Shop were very impressed with her achievement so Harriet was presented with a bouquet of flowers by Pauline (Shop Manager). Pauline Hadfield Manager of Horsham Shop has been with Aga for 11years an Aga Owner herself and a huge enthusiast. She has initiated Childrens Demonstrations to the company, due to Grandaughter Megans appitite for Pancakes cooked on the Aga , these have been a huge success locally. Originally a London girl, she spends a large amount of time outside caring for her horses and generally enjoying "Country Life "cooking on the Aga is a natural progression of part of that life style. The Aga being especially good for drying off nasty smelly New Zealand Rugs overnight .
Our Team Leader is Theresa Montiero she has been with us for over three years and has come to enjoy the Aga way of life and thinks that in her native country of Austria ,it would go down as a huge success.
Hilary Husband, Jean Mott and Judith Hodder are our part time members of the team and are very supportive of all things Aga, and many a jacket potato is popped in the aga at 10ish by Jean to be brought out and enjoyed lunch time.
We have been selling Aga's from these premises for over 70 years and are part of the local history . Horsham is a town of great interest with a local museum , theatres , many good restaurants , and very beautiful countryside. The poet Shelly live in this area for many years.
Horsham Aga Shop carries out a varied selection of demonstrations many "Day in the Life" demo's are available throughout the year for new and inherited aga owners and we have a large circle of customers that attend our themed demonstrations as "regulars", some of the dems planned for this year include Cornish Baking Day, Mediterranian Fare, Pancake open day, Fish on Friday, Autumn Delights and more to be planned for later on in the year. The Horsham shop has a 4 Oven live Aga in cream used for Test Drives, and Demonstrations , we also have 2 and 3 oven models,2 oven Aga with Electric Module, a 30amp 2 oven Aga in the window in Claret a Rayburn 480K, Rayburn XT, Aga 6:4, Aga 4:2 ,Aga Masterchef, The Wonderful Aga Fridge and Freezer - used on a daily basis by the showroom. A very large comprehensive range of Aga Cookshop products including; the ever popular stainless steel saucepans and casseroles, the very beautiful Aga cast iron casseroles, gratin dishes etc (produced in our very own Aga foundry), and much much more .
