Last years event proved to be a huge success, with the week rounding off with a prize-giving ceremony that attracted many keen foodies, (and as you can see from the pictures below - a few well-know faces too!)

The winners of the 2007 Haslemere Food Festival, Sausage competion were: Roundhurst Farm, of Haslemere, taking the prime spot in the traditional category with their Pork and Herb sausage. Kaighan and Daughter Butchers, of Grayshott, took first place in the speciality category, with their Duck and Cointreau sausage. The awards were presented to the winners by Stephan Mulliner, the Major of Haselmere(centre right), and the event successfully hosted by Jackie Reynolds, the Aga Shop Manager (far right), and her team at the Haslemere showroom.

Aga Demonstrator, Sarah Whittaker, gets some well deserved praise from a hungry guest, namely Chris Evans. Sarah successfully rounded off the 2007 competition, by demonstrating a variety dishes on the Aga, including produce from the finalists of the sausage competition.
