DEMONSTRATIONS Forthcoming cooking demonstrations (held both during the day or evening), include “A Day in the Life of AGA” and a monthly, seasonal, themed demonstration. These tend to include a tasting of locally reared, organic meats and organically grown vegetables from Lower Roundhurst Farm. Local Treasures Saturday 21st November ‘09
At The AGA Shop Haslemere a host of ideas from local attractions, places of interest and things to do were available for customers to take away. Mulled wine gently simmering on the AGA and some delicious festive shortbread was offered to customers as they browsed through brochures full of great ideas, and showing our local treasures, great places to take guests staying over the Christmas period. Petworth house, Arundel Castle and The Cowdray ruins to name just a few. There’s nothing more feel good than taking a stroll on a crisp winter’s day with your loved ones’ and coming back to a snug home, all around the AGA sipping mulled wine and enjoying delicious canapés!
Quick Fix Delights Nov 28th 09.
At the AGA shop Haslemere delicious quick fix delights where on offer from AGA demonstrator Diane Van Buren, to show how easy it is to rustle up something quick on your AGA. It’s that time of year when friends and family pop in unexpected to wish you Happy Christmas, and how wonderful it is to offer a quick gastronomic delight straight out of your best friend, who incidentally has been working hard for you all year, boiling the kettle, making toast, cooking delicious casseroles while you are at work, ready when you need heat, drying the washing, doing the ironing to name just a few tasks, yes it’s The AGA! Lots of AGA fans popped in to share the day.
