Sycamore Farm 'Gets Creative' for the AGA Season
On 14th November, the Sycamore Farm team hosted the 'Get Creative' event as part of the AGA Season campaign. The table was decorated beautfully, ready for Christmas Day using foliage from the garden and candles in tin buckets which really impressed the customers.  Bradley, our AGA Advocate gave a demonstration on gift wrapping - something that most people find quite difficult, particularly when the present is of an unusual shape.  To prove how easy it can be he gift wrapped one of our AGAs, which brought wonderful comments from the customers and became quite a conversation point.

Everyone enjoyed the mulled wine, mince pies and chocolate cups, and the kids were happily decorating cupcakes, even though they spent most of the time eating the smarties rather than putting them on the cupcakes.

THE AGA SHOP - SYCAMORE FARM
Located in Ollerton, near Knutsford, The Sycamore Farm Inspirational showroom combines the beautiful AGA and Fired Earth brands under one roof. The spacious AGA showroom section features a large display of products from the AGA portfolio ehanced throughout by products from the extensive Fired Earth portfolio. The showroom features ample store front parking, free of charge to customers, and is easily accessible to wheelchair users.

AGA Manager:  Jean Shepherd 
“I’ve been Manager for the Sycamore Farm Aga shop at Ollerton since November 2006, having re-located here from the South. All the ladies working in our shop here at Ollerton, are AGA owners and we’re all very passionate about our Agas and our cooking. Our customers come from a wide geographical area and regularly visit to be treated to our shop baking, available on most days. We hold regular AGA Demonstrations as well as Open Days which are very popular. The other members of the team are Judy, Alison, Ruth and Sharon. All are very talented cooks, and you can expect to find them baking an assortment of delicious goods on the AGA, which they readily offer to all our customers. All share a passion for the AGA and will happily discuss yor requirements".

"I have a back ground in fashion and interiors so when Sycamore Farm opened in March 2002 it was the ideal job to pursue my interest in interiors. I enjoy working with the products we sell and helping customers achieve the perfect look for their home.  All the team have backgrounds in interior design and always relish a challenge no matter how small, so next time you need to make some alterations phone or come in for a chat with one of our staff."

Our extensive demonstration programe is aimed at existing, potential and iherited owners and allows you to get the best and most economical performance from your range. Here at the AGA Shop Ollerton we also hold regular one-to-one classes where new AGA owners or people who are thinking about buying an AGA can try out the AGA for themselves, and see just how enjoyable and flexible cooking on an AGA can be. Simply place your order and one of our experienced project manager will visit you in your home and help finalise all sit requirements to make the dream of owning an AGA an easy reality. DIRECTIONS
From the M6 southbound take Junction 19 towards Knutsford. Go through the centre of Knutsford and at the roundabout take the A537 towards Macclesfield, travelling for approx 3 miles. You will find the store after a sharp bend on the right hand side. There are plenty of free parking spaces adjacent to the building.

Instore or Home Colour Consultation
A free instore consultation appointment can be arranged with your local showroom. Alternatively, for a fee, we will visit your home to provide your home colour consultation and take measurements of your room.You will have the opportunity to discuss your tastes and requirements including:
Discuss colour, style and appropriate usage of Fired Earth tiles, paint, wood flooring.
We will suggest design and colour schemes, demonstrating samples of products.
We will also provide estimates for your chosen products and guide prices for tile or wood flooring installation.

KITCHEN PLANNING SERVICE
This is an opportunity for you to utilise the planning and design skills of our team for your kitchen including furniture, paint, wall and floor tiles or wood flooring. For a fee our Kitchen Planning Service includes:

Home Visit
Free Fired Earth catalogue and paint card.
Discuss colour, style and appropriate usage of Fired Earth furniture, tiles, paint and wood flooring.
Suggest design and colour schemes, demonstrating samples of products.
Take measurements of your kitchen.
Plan the appropriate positioning of your Original Shaker or Bastide kitchen furniture.
Discuss budgets and timescales form deliveries.

Design Pack
Sample loans to the value of £100/€150 (applies to wall and floor tiles and wood flooring) to be returned on the conclusion of the project.
Estimates for all products and tile and wood flooring installation where appropriate.
A scaled plan of your kitchen with furniture positioning.
A moodboard and visual representation of your kitchen.
Upon placing your order you will receive elevations and specifications.

BATHROOM DESIGN SERVICE
For a fee our Bathroom Design Service includes:

Home Visit

Discuss the style you wish to create and the suitability of our various products for the project.
Suggest design and colour schemes, demonstrating sample products.
Take measurements of each room.
Discuss budgets and timescales for deliveries.
 
Showroom Presentation
Review the details of the proposed scheme, including layout and product selection, making any changes you require.
Confirm your final choices of products.
Discuss requirements for installation, our Guild member will be instructed to conduct a technical site survey after which a detailed estimate will be sent to you.
 
Design Pack
A personalised mood board for each room involved in the project.
Sample loans to the value of £100/€150 (applies to wall and floor tiles and wood flooring) to be returned on the conclusion of the project.
Detailed estimates for products and installation of your bathroom where required.
Scaled plan drawings of your bathroom design.
Elevations and specification available on ordering.
 
TILING INSTALLATION SERVICE
We operate a national tiling service for the fixing of both floor and wall tiles. We will be happy to provide you with a free estimate without obligation for the work you are undertaking, and our showrooms will explain the procedure for obtaining an estimate. Please contact your nearest showroom for more information. By using our tilers you will minimise the risk of incorrect work being carried out and we will take responsibility for ensuring that you order the correct quantity of tiles, adhesive, grout, sealer etc.

BATHROOM INSTALLATION SERVICE
The Bathroom Installation Service is only available to customers on the completion of their Home Design work by our Fired Earth Home Designer.  Please check in-store for full details.
