Founded in 1888 as heating engineers in Newcastle upon Tyne, we were appointed as one of the first Aga Cooker distributors in 1931. It is also the venue for our cooking Demonstrations.We pride ourselves on our unique expertise and the knowledge of the products in which we specialise. Our staff and engineers have extensive experience, specific training and the technical knowledge to help and advise you when making your initial purchase, and to provide the support, help and service you may need at a later date.

ABOUT US
For over 120 years Walter Dix and Co has been supplying cooking equipment in the North East of England and have been an AGA dealer for over 70 years.
The authorised AGA Dealer and premier cooker showroom for the area we are based in Gateshead and serve Northumberland, Newcastle, Durham, Teeside and parts of North Yorkshire.
Walter Dix and Co. is still a family business and we pride ourselves on exceptional service provided by our dedicated and friendly staff, who collectively have a vast knowledge and wealth of experience gained over many years.
OUR SHOWROOM
We are conveniently situated just off the A1 in the Team Valley, Gateshead, and have a large number of AGA cookers on display including 2, 3 and 4 oven AGA cooker and integrated module. We also have the AGA S-Series 6:4, 4:2 and the AGA Masterchef.
In addition to the impressive collection of range cookers we also display an AGA Side-by-Side Fridge-freezer and AGA Little Wenlock Stove, as well as a good selection of AGA and Rayburn Cookware.
RAYBURNS
We currently have the Rayburn 400G, Rayburn 355SFW and Rayburn 600 on display.
RANGE COOKERS
As well as the AGA S-series and AGA Masterchef we have a large selection of Falcon, Mercury and La Cornue Range Cookers on display.
