Celebrating Local Life - in support of our Local Food Heroes!
On September the 6th, the Aga shop transformed itself into a food lovers delight, as Aga's national Local Life campaign was launched in Chester. A diverse number of local producers supplied thier delicious foods, which were available to sample and also used in our bread making class and Aga cookery demonstration. The event successfully promoted the benefits of buying foods made and sourced in the area - a task made simpler due to the high quality of the produce on offer.

The eye-catching window display of various locally produced foods, at the Aga shop Chester. From cheese, to vegetables, meats and sea salts - Chester has an abundance of top quality ingredients available - all thanks to the dedication of our local producers, and the passion they hold for their products.

Delicious samples were on hand throughout the day including: cheese from the Chester Cheese Shop, ale for Pws Mws Brewery, fruit juices from Eddisbury Fruit Farm and crudites from the Celyn Veg Box. Our staff also made fresh biscuits and dips to compliment these delicious samples.
