Who are we and what do we do? Buying a new Aga or maintaining an existing one couldn't be easier, and the Aga Shop Adlington is Lancashire's dedicated destination store for all things Aga! With free store front parking and easy wheelchair access, the Adlington Showroom is situated 3 miles from junction 6 of the M61 between Bolton and Chorley on the main A6. The friendly, dedicated team of Dean, Patricia and Charlotte will be happy to discuss your individual requirements to ensure you choose the ideal appliance to enhance your home and your lifestyle.
Many new Aga owners are discovering that the media image of the Aga as 'old fashioned' or 'uneconomical' is simply untrue! This fantastic range cooker has remained close to its original 80 year old premise: to provide excellent cooking ability at any time using only the minimum amount of fuel. The latest Agas feature flexible, programmable operation so that they are at full temperature when required but can sleep or rest when you do. Indeed, some models can switch themselves off and on to coincide with the family holiday and, while the Aga can not provide central heating, some models can even supply dometic hot water for all the family.
Rayburn cookers use the famous heat storage cooking that the Aga is reknowned for, but in a smaller design package. Many have an on/off style operation and total operational flexibility so they are perfectly suited to smaller kitchens where space is limited but excellent perfromance is demanded. Of course, Rayburn Heatrangers also offer the opportunity for central heating and hot water as well as cooking with the 480CD featuring an 'A' rated energy efficency rating of over 90%. Our in-store display includes the 480CD, the solid fuel central heating cooker 355SFW and the Rayburn 800 Series, kerosene fuelled cookers designed to provide cooking, central heating and hot water for a large family home.
Aga can even offer 'top of the range' conventional cookers with the fantastic Masterchef and 'Aga styled' Six-Four or Four-Two. These cookers operate the same as any 'normal' cooker but, of course, feature rapid response ovens and hotplates as well as innovative features such as triple ring wok burners, ceramic grills and anti tilt oven shelving. All gas burners feature flame failure devices as standard.
For those looking for refrigeration that cools as well as the Aga cooks, the new Side by Side and Premium refrigerators offer amazing performance with ice makers, water dispensers and unique zonal cooling just some of the features that make these exciting new appliance totally unique and totally 'Aga'.
Of course, all cooks know that to compliment a great cook and an iconic cooker, excellent cookware is a necessity. The Adlington showroom features all you'll ever need to ensure that, whatever cooker you choose, your cookware will be up to the job and provide excellent result for years to come.
In-store Events and Cooker Demonstrations. Throughout the year we offer a wide variety of informal in-store events and demonstrations designed to 'dispel the myth' and reveal the ease of Aga cooking. Theme demonstrations explore one specific type of cuisine while the more basic 'Day In The Life' introduces new, inherited and potential Aga owners to the hints and tips that ensure the cooker performs exceptionally.
One To One - The Aga 'Test Drive': We are also delighted to be able to offer Aga and Rayburn heat storage cooker one to ones, a personal mini demonstrations with a member of the Aga Shop team that allows you to take control and experience first hand the wonder and ease of Aga cooking. To book your appointment please contact the showroom.
To request a demonstration programme or to book for an event please call 01257 485761 or email us at adlington@aga-web.co.uk. Please note that demonstrations must be paid for at the time of booking.
Authentic Aga Update Programme.
Aga offer three exciting opportunities for Aga owners to upgrade their existing Aga:
RE-INVENT allows you to add the innovative Aga Intelligent Management System (AIMS) to your cooker so that it is only a full temperature when you need to be. At other times it will be in ‘low’ or ‘slumber’ mode, reducing the heat output into the kitchen and conserving fuel!
RESTORE allows to to upgrade the exterior of your Aga to make it look like new! We can change the domes, the black top or you can change the colour to suit your décor
RENEW allows you to trade in your existing Aga against a new model. Your existing Aga will be melted down and will form part of a new one. Indeed, over 76% of an Aga comes from recycled material.

They all have many years experience of selling and installing Aga products and can advise on the fuel, flue and model that will be ideal to fulfil your requirements. Our project manager will visit your home to offer the unique service that you would expect from Aga. Each survey lasts up to 1 hour and is designed to answer all of your technical queries with regards to fitting an Aga Heat Storage, S-Series, Refrigerator or Rayburn Cookmaster.
Customers looking at the Rayburn Heatranger models will be directed to members of the Rayburn Guild, a list of Gas Safe Register and Oftec registered independent heating engineers who are authorised to work on and install Rayburn products.
